About RSEC

Rising Star Equestrian Center has been owned by Kathy Haas Ogonowski since 1997, and focuses on hunters, jumpers, and equitation.
|
|
In addition to Kathy, Rising Star employs three additional trainers who teach students from grade school to adult, and from beginner to advanced. Over the years, riding students of Rising Star have qualified and placed in the MHC, NEHC, RIHA, SEHA, and East/West Rider Finals through the high level of training they have received at our facility.

Rising Star Equestrian Center IEA Team |

The RSEC Interscholastic Team is made up of Junior High and High School students who compete in intramural competitions with other private barn and school teams thought the United States.
Our 2010 IEA team was the highest placing team from New England, finishing fourth overall at the Nationals in Gonyers, GA! |

Wellesley College IHSA Equestrian Team |

RSEC has hosted the Wellesley College team since 2001, helping them to compete successfully against other colleges in Zone1-Region 4 of the IHSA (Intercollegiate Horse Show Association).
The 2010 team finished 6th in their region, with Cleo Stoughton placing 4th in the region for Cacchione points. Wellesley had 8 riders qualify for regional's last year, bringing home a variety of great placings. |
